On 8th May at 9.30am we are going to have a very special Female Counsel session to discuss a topic which I know resonates with us all.

'The Future of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion’

Diversity, Equity and Inclusion stands at the crossroads of history. It appears that its very essence is being attacked at present. We can see what is happening in the US – but what does that mean for us in the UK?

Some of the most powerful law firms in the world are rethinking their programmes and some are rolling back on their initiatives. Does this mean the end for DEI or is it an opportunity to really build upon what we have achieved so far.

I am delighted to be joined by Vanessa Whitman, a partner at CMS and Christine Braamskamp, a partner at Jenner & Block. They will lead our conversation on this crucial subject.

At Female Counsel, we’ve always known that true inclusion isn’t about statements or gestures. It’s about the day-to-day actions we take, the rooms we’re invited into and whether our voices are genuinely heard. This is a great opportunity for us to come together and share our thoughts.
